Meet Our Staff

Crystal E. Stevens, RN

Crystal graduated from the University of Idaho with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Composition and Performance in 1981. She then earned an Associates degree in Nursing in 1989 at Spokane Community College. She has worked as a staff nurse and charge nurse, specializing in neuroscience and intensive care since 1989. She joined Dr. Hatheway in 2007. She's certified in BLS, ACLS, moderate conscious sedation, and is a certified trauma nurse. She is also a member of the American Society of Pain Management Nurses.

Whitney Loss - X-Ray Tech / Biller

Whitney graduated Cum Laude from Washington State University in May, 2006 with a B.A. degree in Political Science. She is certified by the State of Washington as an X-Ray technician. Additionally, she is holds the designation, Certified Professional Coder, from the American Academy of Professional Coders. She joined Dr. Hatheway in 2009.

Kathryn G. Hatheway, JD, MBA - Practice Manager

Kathryn earned a B.A. degree in Communications at the University of California, San Diego in 1988, a JD at the American University, Washington College of Law in 1994, and an MBA at Whitworth University in 2011. She and her husband John have 2 children.

Julie Barnett- X-ray technician/ Medical Assistant

Julie has 10 years experience as a certified Flouroscopy X-ray technician and Medical Assistant.

Kaitlin Wulf, RN

Kaitlin earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Gonzaga University. Prior to joining Northwest Pain Care, she trained in a wide variety of clinical specialties at Sacred Heart Medical Center, Spokane, including Labor and Delivery, Pediatrics, Medical Oncology and Nephrology. She is working toward a Masters Degree in Nursing.




Lauren Woodward, PA-C

Lauren Woodward, PA-C holds a Masters Degree of Health Science from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine-Physician Assistant Program. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). Her other professional affiliations include the Washington and Oklahoma Academies of Physician Assistants (WAPA and OAPA). In her spare time Lauren enjoys biking and exploring Spokane with her husband.

Heather Galvan

Heather J. Galvan-Medical Assistant/Medical Scribe

Heather graduated magna cum laude from Eastern Washington University (EWU) with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Throughout college Heather worked as an Emergency Department Medical Scribe and as a costume shop assistant for the EWU Theatre Department. Heather plans to apply to medical school during the summer of 2018.
